Residence: Aldrin and his young son live in an apartment in Lumiose. In the city, it is hard for Aldrin to stretch out his legs as a pokemon, but occasionally he will fly to the outskirts of the city for some sun.

:bulletyellow:PokeHuman Stats:
Occupation: Doctor
Town of Residence: Lumiose City
Appearance: Stoic and composed, Aldrin stands at a formidable 6'4 (with great posture!). His almost white hair tends to stand out, along with his piercing blue eyes. Above his left eye is a small scar. Aldrin tends to dress fairly well, as he has the money to. It is hard to find him outside of work without his young son at his side.

:bulletyellow:Personals:

Personality: Strictly professional - Aldrin is well versed and keeps his distance.

Before his wife's death, Aldrin was laugh-out-loud, life of the party, "cool dad at the grill" kind of guy. He was talkative and was the go-to guy for small talk (Aldrin's brain is stuffed with tidbits of knowledge on history and science - he's a very well read dragon). He was social with others and was especially good at connecting with other parents.

Nowadays, it's hard to find him give more than a small, polite smile. He's buried himself in work and tends to be exhausted at any other time. Aldrin doesn't know how to small talk anymore - many of the things he says reminds him of his wife, which brings him great sadness. He chooses to avoid that scenario. He tends to now stand with his hands in his pockets, listening instead of speaking up. Aldrin still spends much of his free time in a book.

Aldrin is an extremely competent employee. He loves that his job is one with great value to society and never turns away someone in need. He grows extremely worried at the sight of someone ill or clearly unhealthy and goes out of his way to make sure that they are comfortable. He is selfless and tends to forget his own health for the sake of others.

Along with being a human doctor, the medical needs of pokemon are not unfamiliar to Aldrin. As a pokehuman, he feels he is obligated to be well versed in both anatomies. However, he is more used to working on humans - if a pokemon is in a situation that he is unsure how to fix, Aldrin has been known to attempt to use his wife's old dittech for operation purposes, making sure to return the pokemon back to its natural form before they wake.

The only time Aldrin's eyes light up is at the sight of his young son, Florian (or Ian, for short). He spends as much time as he can with his son, but frequently feels pain due to the memory of the child's deceased mother, whom the Ian reminds him so much of. He tries to raise Ian well, but is not the best with children. It's clear that he truly loves the young trapinch. He enjoys reading to Ian every Thursday night.

History: Aldrin was caught as a young bagon and raised in a wealthy household by a studious teen. When his trainer was asleep, he would read the textbooks strewn on the floor, learning about the world of humans and the sciences that consumed their thoughts. He associated with the pokemon of other affluent trainers, and many of them would gather and share knowledge of the human lifestyle. Aldrin grew to love the idea of humanity and their lifestyle, and was not afraid to express this among his fellow pokemon.

At one meeting, while Aldrin was a shelgon, one of the pokemon he was close to introduced him to a dittech. Although Aldrin was fond of his trainer, he took the opportunity to trade in his old pet-lifestyle for the homo sapien one. He traveled to Lumiose and engrossed himself in all the literature he could find, eventually enrolling in higher learning.

At university, Aldrin spent his time studying the classics of Kalosian and Kantosian history. He was engrossed in the work of old poets and bards who sang of Arceus and the champions. One day, Aldrin looked up from his books for the first time and found her. Maggie had vibrant green hair and freckles that seemed to glow in the summer sun. He was smitten at first sight, and spent a little more of his time away from the stuffy room where the men gathered to be poets and philosophers. Aldrin did everything in his power to please her, and, to his delight, won her over. When Maggie admitted to him that she was a vibrava, he knew it was fate - they, two pokehumans, were attatched at the hip after that.

Aldrin had a hard time finding work after graduating - people didn't tend to need to hire philosophers. He and Maggie scrapped through and somehow were able to afford a small wedding. Although they weren't wealthy, Aldrin had never been happier. When Maggie brought news of a child, he was ecstatic.

Raising a child with the love of his life was all Aldrin ever wanted, but when Maggie got sick a few years after Florian's birth, they soon realized that happiness was short-lived. Maggie's sickness overcame her, and Aldrin was left alone with Ian. He felt extreme grief in the words of poets bringing no answer to quell Maggie's pain. Aldrin went back to school to study medicine - if he couldn't help Maggie, he had to at least help someone else. Now an established doctor in Lumiose, Aldrin has a busy but satisfying life - but satisfaction can never be bliss, and he knows he can never love work like he loved Maggie, but he can at least spend his time cherishing Ian.

"Ice packs? I may have some..." Sydney went back to the kitchen area, ruffling through the objects in the pantry. She quietly scolded herself - she really was just a girl, a stupid gypsy girl, her cheeks as pink as her hair as she found herself pausing to admire how stoic Orrin was being in the situation. He seemed composed and cool - unlike the blubbering nervous wreck apologizing for causing the situation. Her eyes widened a bit as she saw Orrin aggressively grab Hector's wrist and growl something, probably lecturing him for causing two coffee spills - whatever it was did not give the impression that Orrin was at all in a good mood. Hector's face was alternating between beet red and devoid of all color. Sydney made sure her action of packing ice into a zip-lock bag was more silent so she could hear the conversation.

"I came to get my wallet back from our dear friend here."

Dear friend... Sydney couldn't help but clutch the ice bag tightly, smiling to herself, thankful that her back was to the two men in her living room in fear of their response to her shy giddiness over something as simple as being addressed as a friend, no, a dear friend. Dear friend - that had a nice ring to it. Then again, it might have had a ring of sarcasm? Sydney's exuberance left as she looked up at the cabinet in front of her. He was probably just being sarcastic - why would a man like him, a man with high hopes and good fortune, a doctor, visit her, a stupid gypsy girl, for any other reason than a wallet? She sighed, walking across the divide between the two areas and sitting at Orrin's side, pressing the ice pack against his leg, avoiding eye contact. "Orrin, I don't believe Hector meant anything by his words and actions. I'm sure this was all a big misunderstanding, am I correct, Hector?" She smiled sweetly at Hector, trying to calm the overly nervous individual. "Perhaps I should make some iced tea instead?"
